Visiting Green Nest For The First Time?

How to get to the studio?

You can find us in the heart of Sintra, R. Gen. Alves Roçadas 10, in the Galeria Comercial Solar das Escadinhas. Studio is located on the 1st floor, the left door.

Before 8:00 and after 19:00 The Galeria Comercial building main entrance to the street is closed. Please, in that case, wait at the main entrance and the teacher will come for you 10 minutes before the class. As our classes start on time late-comers may not be let in.

Studio entrance

Studio door before the class is usually open. In case the door is closed, please ring the door bell only 10 mins before class start time as there might be ongoing class or private treatment in the studio. The teacher will make sure to let you into the studio in time.

When to arrive?

We kindly ask you to come 10 mins before the class and make a check-in with the teacher (show booking confirmation or your name) so there is enough time to get familiar with the studio and settle in.

Respecting time

As our classes start on time, late-comers may not be let in. We don't have a reception area, so if you arrive earlier, we kindly ask you to keep the noise down to do not disturb the ongoing class or private treatment (also please do not use the doorbell until 10 minutes before).

What to bring?

The studio is fully-equipped including yoga mats, blocks, belts or bolsters, so you do not need to bring anything, unless you prefer to use your own props, of course.

You can also bring a water bottle, however we always offer jars with water to refresh.

If you tend to sweat a lot, especially in power classes, a small towel will come in handy.

Please look after your own belongings. We can’t take the responsibility for any loss, theft or damages.

What to wear?

The best choice is comfortable, stretchy, clothing that allow you to move easy and freely, like leggings, yoga pants, or shorts paired with a fitted tank or T-shirt.Avoid anything too loose that might get in the way, or too tight.

Breathable fabrics are great option especially if you’re doing a more intense yoga class.

Most yoga classes are done barefoot to improve grip, but if you prefer, you can wear yoga socks with grips for extra stability.

Use layers, after warm up you will probably would like to take off the layer and put on back for savasana.

Keep accessories or jewelry to a minimum to avoid distractions or discomfort during practice.

There are changing facilities and bathroom available at our location, so you can comfortably change your clothes here before and after your class.
