What Will I Learn?
Throughout this 50 hour hybrid course (50 hours online, as BONUS 2 in person meetings of 2 hours each) you will study the theory of Yin Yoga and learn practical ways to incorporate it into your own practice and your classes.
You will learn anatomy of the body applied to Yin Yoga, Yin Asana, Pranayama and the core principles of meditation, along with the fundamentals of the energetic body and how to apply this knowledge into your daily life.

Alicia
Lead Yin Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Alicia’s greatest adventure began when she decided to become a yoga teacher 10 years ago. “When I teach, it comes straight from the heart. My true soul-purpose is to share the ancient teachings of yoga, meditation and Reiki with the rest of the world.”
Alicia has practiced and taught around North America, Europe, and Asia for more than 10 years. She is an experienced yoga teacher E-RYT 500 who has been teaching Yoga Teacher Trainings since 2015. Alicia has completed over 500 hours of Yin Yoga training with Yin Yoga Master Sarah Powers, Tina Nance, Jamie Clarke and Beta Lisboa.
Camila
Yoga Nidra Teacher
Camila has been teaching Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork teacher for over 8 years. She started her journey in her hometown of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. After a few years of teaching Yoga, and practicing Meditation in Buddhist temples in Brazil, she decided to travel to the sources. She moved to Asia to deepen her practice and knowledge. Since then she has been living like a nomad, traveling the World hosting retreats & teaching Yoga teacher trainings, mostly in Thailand and Bali.
Jonathan
Anatomy and Meditation Theory Teacher
Jono was born in Tahiti and grew up with hippie parents between Polynesia, Bali, and India. After a long, formative period of traveling across Asia and studying meditative practices with monks and Earth medicine with shamans, he eventually went into more academic training. He graduated from the Kimura Shiatsu Institute in Japan, studied biology at the University of San Diego, and became an osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy. Having always had one foot in the spirit world, his work combines mind-body techniques from various native traditions and myofascial osteopathy, all of which help release blockages found within vibratory fields.

Yin Yoga Teacher in Green Nest Team
Teodora’s experience with Yoga started 12 years ago when she discovered the physical benefits of Hatha Yoga, which made her want to go deeper into exploring also from an energetic and spiritual viewpoint. “This also helped me greatly in dealing with my own anxiety and fears. Later on, I developed my own teaching practice with students and young professionals in both Sweden and Portugal and the journey has been developing since then.:)”

Yes, there most definitely are! As with any officially certified course, you will be assessed following each topic, to ensure you have absorbed what you need to know before moving on. The good news is that you can go back and watch the lectures & lessons as many times as you need to pass.

Yes, there are two final evaluations to complete the course: a final quiz and a practicum. The practicum consists of 60 min recorded class of you teaching Yin Yoga at home. I will watch and review your practicum and give you personal feedback & guidance. This is a very special opportunity to practice your teaching skills. The good news is that you can repeat it as many times as you want until you are happy with the final result.

Upon joining the online Yin Yoga Teacher Training, you will receive the direct contact details for Alicia, who will be happy to assist or support you along the way! You will also have in person support during studio sessions.

Upon successful completion of this training, you will receive a certificate, accredited with the international Yoga Alliance. You will have the knowledge and tools to teach Yin Yoga. However, depending on certain requirements and restrictions in your country, you may require a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate to obtain insurance and work professionally in yoga studios, fitness centers, and workplaces. We recommend you check on the laws in your hometown!
