What is the story of Green Nest Studio in Sintra

🌿Where comes the name?

Long before we found the space for our beautiful studio, I had a vision—to create a place where people would feel nestled, welcomed, and safe. A space where they could share their thoughts, dreams, beliefs, and passion for growth. A place where we could build a community and become a family, supporting and caring for each member.

As a passionate yogi and teacher, I truly believe that yoga offers these kinds of meaningful connections. That’s why I wanted to create a space where yoga allows us all to grow and shine together.

And once my vision became clear, the name for this sacred space came to me naturally and spontaneously - GREEN NEST.

🌿So what does it exactly mean?

The name "Green Nest" reflects a deeper meaning. It reflects our commitment to creating a nurturing, calming space where you can grow, heal, and thrive.

To us, GREEN represents the color of Nature, symbolizing vitality, balance, fertility, and renewal. It’s also the color of the Anahata, the Heart Chakra, embodying transformation and the energy of love.

NEST symbolizes warmth, safety, and stability—a nurturing and supportive space. We link it to the Padma Mudra, a yoga gesture, symbol of lotus, representing the ability to rise above challenges, seek the light, and bloom beautifully and purely, like a fledgling emerging from the nest.

Together, the name brings us a sense of grounding, connection and Community, the place where everyone can feel welcome, offering a space where you can thrive, rise above challenges, and find your inner light, much like a fledgling emerging from its nest. No matter where you are on your own journey. The place to happy and healthy body, soul and life where we can grow and shine all together. 🙏🏻🧡🙌🏻
